So, this whole “web design” thing is unfortunately just something I do for fun, on the side, and not at all what I do for a job.

My job, as stated below, often involves way way to much travel. 3 weeks ago, gone to WI. 2 weeks ago, gone to Sweden. Last week, back to WI.

Today, I sat at my desk for at least a good hour, the impact of a monday combined with being so out of the loop and behind on some office work…only slightly overwhelming.

Thank God for coffee.

Often sucks, because it takes me away from what matters; my family.

Some say I am lucky, that I get to travel for work, which means at no cost to me. Even my wife says that, but I just have a hard time getting on board with that.

Call me old fashioned if you will, but I don’t cherish much more in life than time with my friends and family, and being on the road, especially overseas for a week, makes that difficult. I hate missing things, like my daughter starting to speak and all.

She said her first word this moring.
